As one of the most recognizable faces in Hispanic television and film, Fernando Allende, the patriarch of the stunning Allende family, is credited with being one of the first actors of his generation to cross-over and make a highly successful transition from Latin America to Hollywood. Allende has starred in more than 32 motion pictures along with iconic TV shows such as Miami Vice, Flamingo Road, The Hitchhiker, and Hart to Hart.

Recently, Allende starred in the primetime global hit, Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse, which aired daily on Univision. Before proving a success in Hollywood, he starred in numerous telenovelas with Televisa. He also had a dozen best-selling records, variety specials, and won the Hispanic equivalent of the Academy Awards® and EMMY’s® within the same year. When Allende finally moved to Hollywood, he became one of the most sought-after Latin heartthrobs, with his irresistible good looks, talent, and charming personality.

In recent years, Allende has had the opportunity of hosting events such as the Miss World competition and has appeared on the Latin version of Dancing with the Stars, Bailando por Un Sueno. Most recently, Fernando stars alongside his family in Bravo’s newest show MEXICAN DYNASTIES, debuting in February across the USA and 52 Countries. The show focuses on three powerful Mexican family dynasties whose lives are interwoven through professional and/or personal relationships.

The show highlights the life of the talented and charismatic Allende family, whose foundation is built by power couple Fernando and Mari, who have been married for 30 years. Fernando is a multi-talented singer, actor, artist, and his beautiful wife Mari, is his manager and mother of their two handsome sons Elan and Adan. Their oldest, Elan, who has been married to his stunning wife Jenny for nine years and has two kids, was a highly successful commercial real estate agent, but recently crossed over into the music industry, forming a band with Jenny called “Shambayah.” The pair’s younger son, Adan is a talented singer with heartthrob looks and hopes to create a career as a successful recording artist.
